PRODIGAL SONS

Prodigal Sons

The Prodigal Sons were born out of a love of music. Brothers Tom and Johnny McNulty and Dana Lawrence enjoy the nuance of harmonies and the exploration of how far acoustic instruments can go. Prodigal Sons play Americana (the Band, Grateful Dead, Jason Isbell), Celtic music (Traditional favorites and modern songs from Flogging Molly, Hothouse Flowers and the Pogues) classic Rock (Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart) and originals.

Dana Lawrence has fronted Kettle of Fish out of Sarasota Florida for over 20 years, playing many festivals and bars in around the Southeast. His passion for music shows in his endless catalog of songs as well as the diverse backgrounds of music in his originals, from rock to blues, reggae to R&B.

Thomas McNulty plays banjo, mandolin and Acoustic guitar with equal aplomb And fierceness. His motto is “he’s never played a song he doesn’t know, he just hasn’t played it yet.” Johnny Mac has been a band leader since his years in New York City and in Sarasota with the Verge. The set list will grab your attention and the musicianship will elevate you.
